I'm 21 year old woman and I want to start…

I'm 21 year old woman and I want to start gym. I don't know what to do and when I google some beginner programs I see bench press in almost all of them. Bench pressing and pull ups are my dream but I'm not strong enough to do them at all. What would you suggest?

These are great exercises to help you build upper body strength. As a beginner, I would recommend you to do these exercises if:

– Bench Press: you can find a barbell light enough so you can perform the movement properly. Some gyms have 10 lbs barbells. Otherwise, try dumbbells.

– Pull Ups: do assisted pull ups if you have them available. Otherwise, you should try an exercise such as Reverse Row. It will help you build strong back muscles.
